Stibe met us down in Salida for a sick all mtn ride and came correct with a treasure map fresh from Mick Hannah and Cole Bangert saying to not do the crest trail.Lurking a few valleys over is the gnar.Six miles up and 16 down full of fast bouldery ass puckering fun.We all had a few close calls but came away healthy.Took almost four hours for the whole thing.Sick.

Mark Flynn was able to meet up with us as well.Having some technical difficulty due to the sketch rocks or perhaps a substandard rental pedal, we were able to pool resources and fix a stubborn time atac pedal leaving Mark to have to finish a bitch of a DH with an allen wrench and zipties holding his pedal together.Props to Mark for staying on pace with his foot attached to a death peg of which he could barely clip in or out of.

On the way to Vail we had to stop and bust a cap or two at the Sand Track.

Then on to Friday afternoon club atop Vail for a band and some beer.
