Vail pass tour to epic All Mountain ride

After a day of DH all we wanted to do was chill. Stibe hooked us up with a shuttle up to Vail pass where we could take the paved bike path down for twenty miles.Perfect manual practice with a view. After checkin the scene in the village it was back to the house to regroup and then ride a little all mountain. We werent sure if we should go out because it was lookin like rain and there was thunder but we went anyway. We shuttled up to the drop point and the the sky opened. We were gauging the storm distance by the "flash then count til the thunder hits" method, and were only able to count, one onethousa...SCRACKABOOM.We decided to press on and luckily we made it.Not sure if it was mud on my shorts or poo from being scared.I guess it was mud cuz my ass had puckered shut.Beers were in order after making it back home for the awesome cleanup pressurewasher job.
